Founded in 1948, the Codyville Fire Dept (ISO 3 Rating) is a department located in the densely populated northern division of Onondaga County, New York, Codyville Fire Department Provide's Fire Suppression, Motor Vehicle Extrication, Water Rescue, Rope Rescue, Dive Rescue, Advance Life Support EMS Response and Transport, Fire Prevention to the Town Of Brickton, Which includes the City of Codyville. With an urban/suburban response coverage area of approximately 23 square miles, the department protects a resident population of over 55,000 and a day time population of over 75,000. A diversified district comprised of extensive single family dwellings, multiple occupancy apartments, townhouses and garden apartment structures, industrial facilities, business/office parks and commercial and retail centers and complexes. Major interstate and highway systems criss-cross through the district which includes major rail lines and over 5 miles of waterfront.
The Village of Codyville was incorporated in June of 2010 it was formed in the town of Brickton which was formed in January of 2009.
The Codyville Volunteer Fire Department was Formed out of the disbanded Brick County Fire Dept, the village of Codyville, which was in need of fire Protection then reorganized all the members of Brick County Fire Rescue and reformed it in the Codyville Volunteer Fire Department Codyville Runs about 2500 Calls a Year,ll, In 2012 Codyville Joined the International Association of Lego Firefighter
We protect the Town of Brickton. This territory, including the Village of Codyville, and the Village of Brickdale is comprised of:
Mostly singled family residential dwellings
Apartments
Several hotels and motels
Commercial businesses
Light industrial businesses
Rail line with 3 gated crossings
2 Major Highways

Onondaga County, NY
Founded in 1948, the Moyers Corners Fire Department (ISO 3 Rating) is a 100% volunteer department located in the densely populated northern division of Onondaga County, New York, provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services within the Town of Clay. With an urban/suburban response coverage area of approximately 23 square miles, the department protects a resident population of over 55,000 and a day time population of over 75,000. A diversified district comprised of extensive single family dwellings, multiple occupancy apartments, townhouses and garden apartment structures, industrial facilities, business/office parks and commercial and retail centers and complexes. Major interstate and highway systems criss-cross through the district which includes major rail lines and over 5 miles of waterfront.
Under the command of Chief Edward A. Wisnowski, the department is staffed with three Deputy Fire Chiefs, two Battalion Chiefs, 15 company officers and over 100 volunteer firefighters. The department averages 1500 alarms annually. The BLS/ EMS services were diversified in 1995 and are presently provided by the independent Northern Onondaga Volunteer Ambulance Corps (N.O.V.A.)
Operations are conducted out of four fire stations strategically located within two battalion response areas. Battalion One consists of Stations 1 and 4, Battalion Two consists of Stations 2 and 3.
